This piece captures what it means as we step into the very presence of the Lord. What it means as He overwhelms us with significance, love and compassion — in a way that we can’t get from anywhere else.
 
As you sit in your prayer space, your garden, or wherever your secret place may be, ask yourself “What is it that the Lord is overwhelming me with today?” Is it love? is it compassion? Grace?
 
What is it that the Lord wants you to know about Him? What is it that the Lord wants you to know about YOU? Whatever it may be, He wants to have a deeper conversation with you and wants to reveal many things to you.
 
As I was painting this piece I saw what emerged through the colors and strokes, a ferocious lion! The Lion of Judah and the King of all kings awaiting from inside the secret place —beckoning us to come deeper. As I see the gates I sense that the door is opened to come and receive more! To come deeper into secret places and drink from the fountain of living waters. To enter into a refreshing refining in the refiners fire — and to come out as pure gold!
 
I then saw as the painting emerged, the two going into the deep. Going to see and hear the thunderous sounds of the voice of I AM. A beckoning to come face to face with the colors of grace!
