The oil flowing from down His head merged with the tears and sweat flowing down from His face. Sweat that turned to blood fell to the ground foreshadowing something that only He could accomplish. The blood that once cried from the ground is now redeemed by the One who conquered it all. By the One who took the keys from death, hell and the grave. 
Because of Him eternal life was given. Because of Him, salvation was made possible.
“And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”” Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭39‬ ‭
“Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.”” Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭42‬ ‭
